DIAMOND DOODLES
Our Policies
To be considered for a Diamond Doodle of North Texas puppy, we kindly ask that you complete the attached application/questionnaire. We will respond to your submission within 2-3 business days. In order for us to better understand your needs, we will arrange a brief face to face or phone interview to discuss your preferences for a puppy.
Following the interview, if you receive approval, you will be asked to secure a spot on our master list by submitting a nonrefundable reservation fee of $500. This fee will be deducted from the total price of the puppy, regardless of it’s color, sex, or size.

The Breeder guarantees that at the time of delivery to the buyer, the puppy is in good health, is up-to-date on immunizations appropriate for the puppy's age and has had the appropriate deworming treatments as defined by Breeder's state licensed veterinarian.
The Buyer must have the puppy examined by a licensed veterinarian within 72 hours of receiving the puppy. If the sale is on a weekend, the sale is considered to be at 10:00 a.m. Monday.
Breeder agrees to replace the puppy (if another one is available), provide a puppy from a future litter or refund the cost of the puppy if a licensed veterinarian judges it to be in a non-healthy condition of a serious nature upon arrival. Any request to return the puppy must be made by the Buyer within 5 days from receipt of the puppy and the Buyer must provide proof of the veterinary exam and findings to the Breeder. The puppy must be returned to the seller unharmed. No veterinarian fees or transportation costs will be paid by Breeder.
Great care has been exercised to ensure the puppy is free of parasites, worms, or coccidia. Since these are very common in puppies, the guarantee does not cover these very treatable conditions or any minor illness requiring short-term medication.

1 Year Health Guarantee
The Breeder guarantees against genetic defects that make the puppy unsuitable for a family pet. Buyer understands that the following slight genetic defects are not considered serious or life threatening and therefore are not covered:
-
Cherry eye
-
Undescended testicle
-
Under or over bite
-
Grade 1 or 2 patellas
-

We also do not guarantee adult color or final weight.
All of our puppies are checked at six, eight and twelve weeks by a licensed veterinarian. If any of these problems are evident at that time, you will be informed before taking your puppy home. If it is determined that the puppy does have a genetic disorder that is identified within the guarantee period, the Buyer has the option of either a replacement puppy from the next available litter or a refund. If it becomes necessary to ship a replacement puppy, those fees are to be paid by the buyer. If the puppy should die from a suspected congenital defect within the guarantee period, an autopsy must be performed at the Buyer's expense by a licensed veterinarian. If the Breeder's veterinarian agrees with the findings of the autopsy, a full refund, less shipping charges, will be provided to the Buyer.
We cannot guarantee that your puppy will never develop any health problems - just as a pediatrician cannot guarantee a child will never develop any health problems in the future. We have no reason to believe that our puppies will develop problems, however, if anything does occur, we ask that you notify us so that we can take whatever corrective action is appropriate.
Return of Puppy
If for any reason, you find yourself unable to keep your puppy, you can return him to us and we will either keep him or try to find a good home for him. We are 100% committed to each of our puppies - they will never need rescued - they can just come home.
Buyer's Responsibility
